Project Description
Bevis was appointed to design the mechanical and electrical fit out of Gateway 22, the project included installation of several manufacturing areas, associated staff and personal facilities, refurbishment and the installation of a Toluene plant. Toluene is one of the constituent parts of TNT. It also included steam and areas of high explosion risk which needed to be taken into consideration when designing. The project was a relocation from an outdated multi storey facility in the town centre, to a 7,000 sq meters extended purpose-built facility.
